This is where I’ll share some of the things that catch my attention, send me down rabbit holes, or make me stop and think, there might be a story in that.

Sometimes inspiration turns up on my beach walks around Monterey Bay. Sometimes it’s a place I visit, a bit of history, a great cozy mystery I’ve been reading, or something completely unexpected.

You’ll also find book recommendations, behind-the-scenes peeks at my own mysteries, and probably more than a few cats.
